Imagine you tell her you're taking her to dinner, but you pull up at the airport. Instead of suffering through the obstacle course provided by the Transportation Security Administration, you lead her directly to the plane, where the ground instruction begins. Oh, yes -- you're the ones doing the flying. Under the supervision of a certified flight instructor, of course. No need to worry about actual flight experience (though this will definitely count as hours flown if you should decide to get into flying after this).

Dinner is always a bad ruse given that hunger seeks no one's consent. But you've got it covered. The one hour flight takes you across Long Island Sound to Connecticut's Waterbury-Oxford Airport, where a table for two awaits at the homey 121 Restaurant. Christian Grey has nothing on this. $599 from Ventura.

Then again, maybe you and your date are one of those couples that prefer to start with dessert. Got you covered. Meet LoveCloud, the aircraft concierge that specializes in forays into the Mile High Club across Nevada skies. Fights in the winged shag pad start at $799 for 40 minutes. They also offer a 90 minute flight that includes a minister to marry you and your date -- not necessarily at the same time as you're joining the Mile High Club, but it is Vegas, so. Don't do anything you'll regret, but if you do, make sure you post images on Facebook for the amusement of your friends.
